About ACAIC
Helping American businesses make informed choices about AI.
The American Council for AI in Commerce is an independent initiative being developed to educate business owners about the effective and ethical use of artificial intelligence.
We believe businesses benefit when owners understand their options, employees have practical skills, and the people affected by AI remain part of the decision.
Our mission
To help businesses understand, evaluate, and use AI in ways that improve performance, develop people's capabilities, and protect trust.
Why this work matters
Choosing an AI tool is only one part of adoption. A business must also decide which problem to address, what information is appropriate, how the work will be reviewed, and what employees need to succeed.
ACAIC is being built to make those questions easier to understand and act on. The council's educational focus connects technical possibilities with the practical responsibilities of running a business.
Who we aim to serve
Business owners and operators, especially those who need useful guidance without a large internal AI team. Managers preparing employees for new ways of working. Business associations and educators looking for practical material to share with their communities.
Our priorities
Make useful AI knowledge understandable and accessible.
Help owners evaluate business value before expanding an investment.
Support employees through skills, involvement, and clear expectations.
Encourage practices that protect information, fairness, and accountability.
Bring different professional perspectives into business education.
A council built through participation
We are forming a board and advisory council with experience across AI, commerce, education, and the public sector. We welcome interest from people who can help turn that experience into useful education.
